Our Story

A glass changes everything.

Whiskey Glassware was started in a tasting room. A Glencairn next to a hotel tumbler, same whiskey poured in each. The pour from the tumbler was fine. The pour from the Glencairn was — to put it plainly — different. Brighter. Layered. Generous on the nose. The whiskey hadn't changed. Only the glass had.

That's when it clicked. Drinkers spend years building their bottle collection. They spend afternoons reading reviews of single barrels and store picks. And then they pour the result of all of that into whatever was on the shelf at the thrift store. Something was off.

How we source.

Every piece we sell, we own. We've poured out of it, we've washed it, we've broken one or two. We work directly with old-world crystal houses in Scotland and Germany, American glassblowers in Brooklyn and the Pacific Northwest, and a third-generation glass engraver in Massachusetts who still uses a copper wheel.

We don't carry mass-market chain-store stuff. We don't drop-ship. We don't put our logo on someone else's catalog. If it's on this site, we picked it up, drank from it, and decided it was worth your money.

The promise.

Free U.S. shipping over $75. Lifetime replacement on anything that arrives broken — or just doesn't feel right in the hand a year later. Real human emails. Recommendations from people who'd rather argue about glass shape than do almost anything else.

Pour better.
